GuyanaBids is managed by Blackwalker Investment Inc, a Guyanese-owned firm dedicated to driving infrastructure and technological growth across the region. Under the leadership of Dave Hicks (BEng, MBA), GuyanaBids serves as the firm’s flagship digital platform for the construction and procurement sectors.
Founded in Georgetown, we started with a simple observation: Guyana’s rapid development was moving faster than the information contractors needed to keep up. Important tenders were buried in newspapers, material prices were volatile, and finding technical experts was a matter of "who you knew."
We built GuyanaBids to bridge that divide.
Today, we are Guyana’s leading independent procurement network, connecting over 1,500 monthly active users to real-time opportunities and resources. We aren’t just a directory; we are a specialized ecosystem designed to help Guyanese businesses bid with precision and execute with excellence.

We are in the middle of a historic transformation in Guyana, but I have noticed a recurring problem: the 'busy contractor' struggles to find tenders in real time, and 'new contractors' need technical guidance.
